A former railroad rich with history, the Columbia Tap Trail is a four-mile-trail connecting the neighborhoods of MacGregor, East Downtown, and Third Ward. In honor of its rich history and culture, this branding identity signifies connectivity: connecting the past and present, connecting nature and urbanity, and connecting the neighborhoods. To promote the trail and further highlight its importance, a wayfinding system including informational kiosks and mile marker signs are designed to be placed along the trail.
